I would definitely recommend this app! it keep my personal information safe and secure. I love that it has the feature to choose between a 4 no. password or a texted- password. I use it all the time and its awesome! -- still has my private notes from year back!

I have used Codebook for more than a year. It is great to have an app to store information securely on my phone. Codebook is very easy to use. It is a no brainer.

This is a great way to store secure information. Suggestions for when you update it; TouchID, allow for sign in with fingerprint. Please redesign the look of the app to fit with the latest iOS.

When I launch Codebook on my iPad using ios8, the opening screen is blank. I cannot log in at all. Codebook just hangs.

One quirky, longstanding bug remains even after iOS 8 arrived. Copy-Paste between Codebook and other Apps stopped working at some point — but only for documents created after some past, yet-to-be-identified update. Copy-Paste between my oldest Codebook documents has been working, but not between newer Codebook documents and other Apps. To fix this problem: In Preferences, temporarily turn off "Pasteboard: Clear on Exit." Quit the App and delete it from Apples background mode. Then re-launch the App and Copy-Paste works again in all Codebook documents and with other Apps. But if you again turn on "Pasteboard: Clear on Exit" — Codebook Copy-Paste between newer documents and other Apps stops working again! This traps data inside Codebook.

Do not buy. Wont work with ios 8. Developer doesnt respond to emails. I cant access my notebook anymore. JUNK/waste of money.

Codebook works great and is just the thing I was looking for. I am surprised that it cant be installed on an iPad. My big concern is that if something happens to my iPhone, I cant get to my notes until I replace the iPhone. Are the encrypted notes creation/editing functions of Codebook also available in Strip? If I install Strip on my iPad or Windows PC, can I access/decrypt files created in Codebook? Thanks

Im sure that this is a great app and that it works very well. But after purchasing the app I sent them an email requesting help on syncng with Dropbox and finding a way to import all my notes from my computer. It has been over a week and not a peep from customer support.

Has really good reviews. Works flawlessly. So far no problems at all.

All excellent about this app except I wish it had an alarm/reminder for some things I put in it ie... Like pay bill reminder etc

This is an outstanding privacy app. I love being able to use it like I use the "Notes" app on my iPhone...but, with Codebook, everything is securely kept away from prying eyes. It is a top notch safe vault whether its data base resides on my iPhone, iPad, computer, or in my DropBox account. Although I found this app easy to use, I did have a couple of questions... for which I had prompt support feedback. I like the fact that DropBox will sync my Codebook database with all my iOS devices and that Codebook provides a backup provision. In the future, however, I hope to see a Codebook version which will run on my computer as opposed to just being stored there as a recovery backup.

The search is a great feature. The only con is that its not supported on OS X...

Ive been using Codebook for several years now to store all of my sensitive information. Its free notepads format allows me to store all relevant info in a way that makes sense to me, and to the application the info is for. Its ability to drop an encrypted database onto Dropbox is what I use to backup the info, and syncs to my iPad and iPhone. With the app, I find it easy to have completely different password for all web login accounts, and not have to remember what they are. Frankly, I would be lost and certainly less secure without this app. In the years Ive had it, it hasnt once crashed, which of course in itself is a critical feature given what I depend upon it for.

Ive been using Codebook for a few years now, and find it to be a top notch product. The crypto used is strong, tested, peer reviewed, and shown to be pretty much hacker-proof (like its sister program, STRIP). Codebooks also straight forward to use. Its interface is clean and straight forward, its backup and sync are just a few quick taps, and nothing is stored unencrypted. Highly recommended 15 out of 10.

This is the only app I feel safe using, I just wish it looked a little prettier for iPhone 6 plus. Update: they made it look good on 6+

CodeBook was easy to use, but the latest version has several really annoying new bugs (on an iPhone 6 running iOS 8): e.g., searching inside a note does not always take you to the place in the note where the text is. ???
